Description: My Lighthouse by Cheryl Hansen

A lighthouse for ships, will be there to guide
It glows very brightly, in the dark of the night.
The light seems brighter, when the storms start to come
A calmness for ship crew, when the glow they do see.
When I picture a lighthouse, glowing so bright,
I think of our Savior, who says do not fright.
His arms of guidance are outstretched to behold
To carry us thru, life's bitter cold.
The cold I am talking about, is not the weather
But, more of the cold that comes from life here on earth, together.
Our comforter will guide us, thru the stormiest blast.
He shines HIS light bright, to guide us.
The problem is..... thru all of the storm,
We say I can do it, & turn with a grin.
God knows in advance, that we will look back HIS way.
Someday.
So as we are facing a problem today,
No matter the problem,
Lets stay focused HIS way.
He will guide us together,
Thru any kind of weather
Much like the lighthouse on the ocean shore,
But more dependable, for the light is always glowing.
It glows with sincere love.
Love that will never stop
The light never grows dim.
He always has an answer to a problem
And outstretched arms of love, support & comfort & forgiveness
To help us thru.
